As a registered charity, AVRCE can issue donation tax receipts for income tax purposes. When you make a donation using this online service, you will automatically receive a tax receipt for the amount you donate.

To direct your donation to a specific school, please select the school name in the drop-down menu below, then select the 'Initiative’ you want to support.  You can also indicate the purpose of the donation in the “Message” field.  Please contact the school if you would like further information on a specific initiative.

Before proceeding to the payment page, you have the option to sign into your account If you are a registered SchoolCash Online user. Use “Guest Checkout” if you are not registered for SchoolCash Online.

PLEASE NOTE:

• This page is ONLY for charitable donations. Do not use this page to pay for your child’s school-related fees (e.g. student fees, lunches/snacks, fees for a sport, activity, or trip, event tickets, etc.).
• In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency rules regarding charitable donations receipts, donations made to a school or school initiative cannot be applied to individual student fees, such as supply fees, school trip fees, meal purchases, extracurricular fees, event tickets, etc. For example, you can donate to a school trip fund that assists with costs for all participating students, but you cannot direct your donation to pay school trip fees for an individual student. • To pay for your child’s school-related fees, please sign into your SchoolCash Online account using the “Sign In” link at the top right corner of this page.
• Do not use this page for donations/pledges to external fundraising organizations (e.g., Terry Fox events, Jump Rope for Heart, Nourish Your Roots, etc.). Please refer to the external organization’s website or your school for donation instructions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DONORS:

• If you are interested in creating a scholarship or bursary to support AVRCE students, or have questions about donations, please contact 902-538-4605.
• While all donations are appreciated, we may not be able to issue a charitable tax receipt for donations made directly to schools.
• This online donation page only accepts credit card payment.
• For information on donating by cheque, visit https://www.avrce.ca/donations.
• Donations made through this online donation page are non-refundable. 
• Receipts for online donations will be issued to the name of the login account holder or, if using Guest Checkout, the name of the cardholder.
• All monetary donations to the AVRCE become property of the AVRCE.
• AVRCE will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate the intended purpose of the donation. Donations to a specific school or program will be directed to that school or program if specified by the donor.
• AVRCE will not redirect such donations to another AVRCE school, program, regional office, or fund unless it is a term/condition of the donation.  However, AVRCE reserves the right to redirect donations to other appropriate charitable purposes if:
  • The original purpose of the donation no longer exists or cannot be accommodated.
  • The donation cannot be fully utilized for the specified purpose.
  • The donation violates AVRCE policy or the law (e.g. Human Rights Act).
